  من اعمال الفنان التشكيلي عامر العبيدي .. العمل بعنوان ( الكرسي ) وهي من مقتنيات السيد أحمد قطيط.سوريا بقلم بدور العبيدي في سنوات قبل الحرب ، اذكر ان رجلا من أصول لاتينية يحمل الجنسية الفرنسية ويعمل بمنظمة الصحة العالمية وهو من جامعي الاعمال الفنية. عندما تعرف على والدي كان يزورنا كلما يأتي الى بغداد فيقتني بعض اعمالهِ الفنية حتى اصبح صديقاً لوالدي وللعائلة وبات يتفقدنا حتى عندما يكون في دولٍ أخرى. وبعد الاحتلال ، انقطع الاتصال بيننا وبينه. ولكن بعد سنتين وتحديداً في عام 2005 أتصل وسأل أبي اذا كان ينوي ترك العراق فأنه مستعد للمساعدة متى ما شئنا. فرد عليهِ والدي قائلاً: انا لن اترك العراق. وبعدها في عام 2006 تعرضنا الى تفجير واستشهد أخي ، وبترت قدم أمي ومع ذلك كان والديّ يصرون على عدم مغادرة العراق. وفي يوم من أيام الموت الطائفي وجحيم عملاء الاحتلال حيث اصبح القتل في منطقتنا شبه يومي . تفاجئنا، بوجود رصاصة على بوابة دارنا الكائن خلف مستشفى اليرموك في منطقة القادسية. ومن حينها قرر والدي ان يترك العراق لأن تلك الرصاصة كانت بمثابة انذار بالقتل! فذهبنا الى

Wonderful image that represents both beauty and compassion. Fear and hopes. Great representation for each of the following countries : Syria Iraq Lebanon and Palestine ... Simple, yet, really meaningful. It touches the heart so quickly. Even if you are not Arab or not from the Middle East and you don't belong to that region. You still care to listen, and be informed by everyway possible.  So basically, I really preferred to share with you my friends and everyone this Project of two beautiful, intelligent, brave sisters and introduce it in English first, then will translate in Arabic later as I really want to make sure that this ( Message ) reaches out my American friends as well as my Arab friend but non-native Arabic speakers.  This will only take few minutes

Some unrecognizable land on earth that suffer from extreme poverty and subjugation. But, guess what? Those children are from Iraq. The land that was known for it's remarkable, historical civilizations. The land that produces OIL for thousands years. The lan d of culture, urbanization and magnificent values for humanity. The land between the rivers. The land that's overly packed with endless natural recourses the land that almost have everything you think of in mind. Look at their children how they look like.
