You may wonder a lot, ask yourself an endless questions, spend a great amount of time trying to figure out yourself ( Your identity ), who you really are in such a complicated -and unique environment. In modern day, such questions rises and might become even harder to answer them in a way or another. Not asking for someone to assist us or guide us nor tell us to where should we go, and how can we challenge ourselves at the end of each day; how to be a useful, productive individuals and get other people inspired, and motivated by our experiences.
Living in a society that consists of fear, fear of almost everything you say or perhaps you do in day to day bases. Not trying to be smart or (( Very Intelligent in my introduction )) Though, imagine (( Yourself )) living in such a divided, risky, and unstable area filled with tons of problems in all aspects of life, even though, I'm pointing out this question to the western culture, to my friends, my good friends, my neighbors, my mates and collages between school, work and all the people who I get to meet and see randomly in a society like mine, could you ever imagine yourself (( Living )) in a land, or a specific region that consists of endless political problems, living in a dangerous neighborhood, but you still continue resuming your day and practice your life as a normal human being and go to work, school, hanging out with your friends without worrying too much would happen in the next hour or less whether you are at home, or a coffee-shop gathering with friends during one of Baghdad's crowded nights, for example. Imagine the threat surrounding you from everywhere and you have few, limited chances to escape and continue living in another part of your homeland just because it tends to be a little bit safer than where you used to live before. And you think this is a joke? Well, I think it is.
And this is where the story should literary begins and to be more specific, here is a big, phenomenal example of an educated, multi-talented journalist/comedian who has a strong representation as a public figure supported by the Iraqi people because he's one of them, part of them, and he- ( personally ) has gone through tough, and unbelievable sorts of difficult times and incredibly unforgettable moments where you, I, and anybody else get deeply involved into his life-story, we will be simply shocked how this young man kept going despite all the bad, sad events he has dealt with after the invasion of 2003, until he became a successful person and such a bright intellectual famous figure not only in his country of origin, Iraq, but more likely his name become interestingly known by the Arab region as well as several parts of the Western region, and yet in my personal opinion he deserves to be more recognized and famous around the U.S socially, as well as culturally and artistically at the same time.
By comedy and sarcasm this is how Ahmed Al Basheer and
his crew are fighting both radical and political big heads extremists in the
land of Mesopotamia

Ahmed Albasheer,is one of the most talented young and brave Iraqi men who has been working for couple of years on himself to be a wise, bright, intelligent "individual" and journalist as well as a comedian who preferred to take his own and unique way in presenting the bad, complicated and messy political events in his motherland, Iraq.
Albasheer, along side with a group of passionate, dedicated young men who all decided to challenge themselves to deliver the Iraqi people voice to the "Sleepy Hollow" world! Better example to bring on that, I-( Myself ) could be easily brainwashed by multiple sources in different ways, ( remember ) don't be tricked if you see an intellectual person, talks about politics wisely, and have a good carrier whether inside the country or out, as that person might already be Saturated by lots of false information and he or she proudly call whatever they hear or stand for as facts!!! Back to myself again, I could be one of those examples, too, I mean in other words, think about it.. why not? Putting in mind the following statement that says: ( Always expect the unexpected ).
We live in a world that shockingly not only crosses the red lines in many aspects of life, but also, we get judged unfairly if we express ourselves in a way that speaking, writing, delivering certain words, messages and images could put us in a real trouble.
This is why freedom of knowledge and speech are so important to show the world, and typically as Iraqis we are not ignorant people nor cowards or foolish, but living in an atmosphere filled with danger and sorrows results either strong people and true fighters or simply weak and cannot risk their lives because of fear and all kinds of frightening threats.
Not too far from the subject, but back to the main theme, Albasheer, his friends and the group who spend a marvelous time and efforts on their program in order to put on display a well done creative work & broadcast it on their YouTube Channel to the people of Iraq, as well as the Middle Eastern and Western regions, worldwide.
His talk-( comedy show ) called, #Albasheer_Show that basically emphasizes the importance message that true people, honest journalists and talented actors and performers could take a real action and play a significant role to be a very good and powerful influence for the young Iraqi and Middle Eastern generation by all meanings.
Though public concerns whether Arabs or not, it doesn't matter because recently Ahmed Albasheer; nowadays decided to go even boarder and break the ice by reaching out the western audience as he's considered a messenger of his homeland's tragedy, and the country's unidentified future due to politicians along with their supporters who never served the people's rights or protected them in any kind of way and weren't able to establish a real, and powerful government with a respectful presence in all terms since the overthrow of the past regime, back in 2003 until now.
Public Concern about the media and its contents ( General identical points were written in 1948 by sociologists Robert Merton and Paul Lazarsfeld as they both identified four major aspects of public concern about the media;
listing those concerns will guide you as a reader and viewer to what kind of media are you listening to, or following the most, it may or may not change your mind, but being able to distinguish and value what you watch and perceive from TV, online products, as well as what's often shared on social media is very important which is another way that encourages the audience to be conscious rather then being an absent minds. So! Here are the concerns that usually I go by myself to examine whether a particular sort of media is feeding me with best knowledge or should reconsider my interests and change from them a little? Let's find out:
1- Concern that because the media are everywhere, they might be able to control and manipulate people. This is a large part of where fear comes really from
2- Fear that those in power will use the media to reinforce the existing social structure and discourage social criticism. When critics express concern about who owns and runs the media, this is what they are worried about.
3- Fear that mass entertainment will lower the tastes and standards for popular culture by trying to attract the largest possible audience.
Criticism of action movies, soap operas, and wrestling as replacements for healthier entertainment such as Shakespeare's plays is at the heart of this concern, if we pay closer attention to it and examine it scientifically and not only bringing up examples randomly, personally speaking.
4- The belief that mass entertainment is a waste of time which has become a very common concern among many societies and not just one or selective countries in a particular. Being afraid of the waste of time that perhaps detracts from other useful and necessary activities. Best example to bring on that is when your mother told you to turn off the television, and don't spend countless amount of time on the internet, instead, use that energy and time for other activities, get your homework, go outside and communicate and have a physical interaction and communication with people, extra.
So, the big idea here about the little research I've made not for the willingness to compare and contrast between Albasheer show Vs. other media productions whether on TV or shared through the web. But, it's more likely a introductory tool to have an eye opened widely by determining a good quality work, talents chosen carefully and wisely, all that so the audience get the option to be more encouraged to go ahead and always check new episodes, news, updates and anything related to what rule Ahmed's program has been made for.
