Rest In Peace ✌️ captain Ahmed Radhi, we are still under shock and cannot believe you really gone that quick, this is just way too early for you. Seriously unbelievable ☹️🤲
You’re one of the countable names who have made his name due to his achievements in the Iraqi football field nationally and internationally.

When we talk about sports especially and the rising stars who have made a significant difference in Modern Iraq ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡¶ history, your name must’ve been recognized and mentioned and it is a must be of presence.

You were one of the fewest names who had the incredible ability to draw big smiles on all the Iraqi people, all Iraqi citizens inside the country without forgetting many of those who have been immigrated to other countries and parts of the world and whenever we say the word football ⚽️ your name kicks in the head right away!
Generations of Iraqi youth as well as the people around the Arab region will remember exactly who you are, your name, the historic goals you scored in most important football competitions worldwide, you were the only one if I’m not mistaken who did raise the name of our homeland IRAQ ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡¶ in the World Cup in the 1986 World Cup finals in Mexico of 2011 after his shot hugged the Belgium ðŸ‡§ðŸ‡ª team in the first round.

Ahmed Radhi, had contributed to his country’s qualification to the Olympic Games twice in Los Angeles in 1984 and Seoul in 1988.

All that and more of what it’s inc, used and mentioned in this post, along what his friends, fans, pages and news on social media and the web have talked about and mentioned is not enough to express our deep love ❤️ and admiration for his great and respected personality and all what he has done to the Iraqi youth and children for getting them involved in one way or another in the Iraqi football scene.

Ahmed Radhi has passed away today, Baghdad’s central time around 7:30 AM at Al-Nu’man Hospital in Baghdad,Iraq after contracting the Corona Virus.

May you Rest in heaven our legend, you will be always remembered in every occasion that will comeback around the upcoming years and as the days move forward, you are a very memorable man and you will be always alive in our hearts and memories.
We promise you that.

Fly with your peaceful soul very high to the sky, may the angels of paradise be all over you at this very moment and forever.
