Blue- By Artist Samantha Box. Des Moines Art Center Museum 2024 Art serves as a profound influence on writers, offering a rich tapestry of inspiration that transcends the boundaries of language. Through visual, musical, and performing arts, writers draw upon diverse emotions, themes, and perspectives, enriching their narratives with layers of meaning and depth. Art challenges writers to explore new ideas, evoke sensory experiences, and delve into the human condition, often prompting them to reflect on their own artistic processes.  This interplay fosters a creative synergy, where the nuances of artistic expression shape literary styles and storytelling techniques, ultimately leading to works that resonate deeply with readers and reflect the complexities of life itself. In this sense, in my poem, the influence came out in such a spontaneous way where I couldn’t ask for better chances to see a blue artwork created by artist Samantha Box, titled "Blue," at the opening night on O...

Blue- The Never Ending Story

Poem written and posted by Bedor Alobaidi  Photographed by: Figment Photography    Blue like the sky,   Blue like the ocean,   Blue like their eyes,   Blue like a butterfly  🦋    Blue like a ballerina in motion,   Blue like the land that cradles rivers,   Blue like a bird in mid-flight,   Blue like the cover of a cherished book,   Blue like a designer’s elegant dress,   Blue like the soul of an artist,   Blue like the soothing waters,   Blue like the tempestuous sea,   Blue like the whispers carried on the breeze,   Blue like the dreams that set us free,   Blue like the soft glow of twilight,   Blue like the secrets that stars confide.   Blue like the ink that flows on a page,   Blue like the heart that dares to engage,   Blue like the laughter shared under the night sky,   Blue ...

THIS IS ME

Image
This is me every time I see someone acting like a total stranger once they see me often out that I am supposed to be. I will not comment on who those people are, they know themselves very well and I think reading this post should makes it’s point and get the message out to them pretty simple.  A little brief about me for those who don’t know me, barely knows me or have known me for years and decided to stop knowing who I am as a preference or change of interest, which is something I have started to accept hardly because I care for my people in a core level and of course it would bother me. It would bother me if I see someone gets bothered by me when I say the truth and they view it as a gossip because they are not used to truth and they like it to be fake because it looks like that’s the way how their mind sets works. It bothers me because it will put me in a situation Where I must come up with excuses or prof of evidence if I tell them that you’re best friend, colleague have behav...

Bedor Alobaidi/ Interested to ask me a question? Please go ahead. I will be more than happy to do my best in answering if it's something related to my personal knowledge. By Bedor Alobaidi photography of FIGMENT by Joelle Blanchard. I remember when I opened an art book and from the first two pages a thought jumped right out into my head only to remind me of my limited experience in this life and no matter how much I give and put out there never sounded good enough because I was not too perfect according to a professional mindset friend has ever been seeing me.  They never told me that in the face but after several months that has passed, they came to my mind out of nowhere ; special...

Emerging From the Crowd

Image
Bridgedo Design .. Art Decor and merch  Emerging from the Crowd  By: Bedor Alobaidi  It’s peculiar how this place teems with people... a whirlwind of chaos and myriad details, familiar faces mingling with strangers... there are so many that I’ve lost track of who they are, yet their features linger in my mind, though their names have slipped away. I can’t fathom why this unsettling pattern has repeated itself across various settings and occasions... I’ve often found myself in places and events only to feel a disconnect, as if I inhabit one world while they exist in another. The cacophony draws me in with an unsettling allure, yet it drains me in a strange and sometimes painful way... it eludes my understanding, just as it seems disinterested in comprehending me.  Detached from the frustration, my spirit wanders, scouting the space in hopes of discovering the person I yearn for. My wandering heart seeks its twin, yet it remains elusive... and in this moment, I perceiv...

I, for example, and this is not a survey or a form of madness but rather a truth that many people do not know about me, and the majority know it at the same time but deny it. I am someone who has stepped out of the classifications of unworthy comp...
